Proverbs 23:18  For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Beloved, there is a truth you should always be thoughtful about. The thought of it should always gives you, joy.  But then as you think about it always, you must commit yourself to doing with caution everything that will enable you,  to attain that desired end. On several occasions, the Bible talks about end. See them. 1. Psalms 37:37: Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 2. Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 3, Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:  4. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  Beloved, one thing that must make you conscious of the certainty of these ends is that, it might be closer to you than you think. You can not afford to be carefree, like others, this because any false step can end in an undesirable place . Daniel 12:2: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Proverbs 23:17. Let not thine heart envy sinners:  but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.

Beloved, what makes you a Christian is your uniqueness. You were wonderfully made by God. Psalms 139:14. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous  are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. You were  not made to copy anyone. You are supposed to be  distinct.  But then, we see many so called believers  today, copying what others are doing. The Bible warns that you should not follow multitude to do anything.  Exodus 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:  Beloved, at a time like this when we are fast approaching the end time. Please heed the timeous warning like Noah.did, and himself and household were saved In the wide whole world. No matter. If the whole world are doing something and is wrong. The multitude doing it does not change the status. It will still remain wrong.  In the same token, what is right, shall remain right, even, if only you are doing. It.  You must endeavor to avoid what has  become the bane of the undoing of multitude. The blessed Holy Spirit sees the inevitable consequence of this thing and inspired  the wisest king to place this timely warning  at your hand to enable you avoid it. See it.

Proverbs 23:11 For their redeemer is mighty;  he shall plead their cause with thee.

Beloved,  saints of old have found God the Father, their true and dependable Redeemer. They have  found  God very dependable in two unique areas. 1. In His gracious ability to pardon their sins. Isaiah 44:22. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Isaiah 63:16. Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer;  thy name is from everlasting. Micah 7:18-19. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever,  because he delighteth in mercy.  He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us;  he will subdue our iniquities;  and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.  2. In His invincible might to deliver them from insurmountable challenges. Jeremiah 31:11. For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.  Jeremiah 50:34. Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Proverbs 22:28. Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

Beloved, as you look around,  you will discover that, majority of the so called believers, don't understand the essence of Christian religion.  Their are two vital ingredients of biblical  Christianity that have been lost in the lives of the vast majority of those who claim to be believers, globally . They are : 1. Godliness . 1 Timothy 6:11. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 2. Saintliness.  It does not matter where you might find yourself, believers are called to be saints. Romans 1:7. To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 1:2. Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: WHETHER YOU ARE IN ROME OR CORINTH, WHETHER IN DEVELOPED WORLD OR UNDER DEVELOPED, BELIEVERS ARE CALLED TO BE SAINTS.  Majority of today's believers are just churchy, they are not godly and they are not saintly. Beloved, pause and ponder on this, are you just churchy? Are you a godly Christian ? Are you a saintly Christian?  If you are fine. But, if you are not, you need to repent and become a biblical Christian.

Proverbs 22:11. He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.

Beloved, have you ever pondered on what brought about the overwhelming blessings Abraham received from God? He enjoyed covenanted blessings on earth. Genesis 22:17-18 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.. He also had an estate called Abraham bosom at eternity. Luke 16:22-23.  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. WHY WAS ABRAHAM  HIGHLY FAVORED?  The reason was his resolve to walk with God. But then,  he walked with God, in God's own terms. Amos 3:3. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?  See it.

Proverbs 22:3  A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Beloved,  one way to have access to and sustain the enviable and privilege  lifetime  and eternal blessings  of God is to have reverential fear for God.  Hebrews 12:28-29. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.   The fear of God brings divers lifetime and eternal blessings to His children. Job 28:28. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.  Psalms 34:9. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.  Proverbs 3:7. Be not wise in thine own eyes:  fear the Lord, and depart from evil.  Proverbs 10:27.  The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.  Proverbs 14:26-27. In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence:  and his children shall have a place of refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
